Gratitude Makes This Indie Gal Smile

There is so much going on in my world! Sometimes I have to stop and enjoy the ride.
This week I'm in Nashville, Tennesse with my writer gal pals, Author Nancy Naigle and Duffy Brown. We are here for Killer Nashville.

What do you think about box sets? Leave a comment and I will pick one lucky winner to receive an ebook copy!!

  1. So awesome!!! Congratulations all!!!! The books are all amazing! <3

  2. Love this collection! It's an amazing bargain at $1.99!

  3. I love mixed box sets! Especially in a series. It's so much easier to buy and read. You don't get all antsy because you finished one and have to go buy another one. You get to stay in 'the moment'. With mixed sets, you find new authors and new stories all the time!! That makes me happy! :D

  4. I would love to see more boxed sets like many of my favorite authors :)

  5. It is the best book set ever!!! I love that so many of them are a part of really amazing series! You all did a wonderful job with each and every book! Thank you!

  6. Well done, mi lady. On to the next ten .....

  7. Looks like a wonderful collection of stories.
Wouldn't mind winning this at all.
    But, If I don't , I'll buy it,

Easter and the Derby?

Easter is in April and the Derby is in May! But here in Kentucky and the south, we don't have Easter without the Derby pie!

Kentucky Derby Pie
(from my mama~Linda Lowry)
My mama’s Derby Pie is smack your mama good! It’s a southern pie with walnuts and chocolate chips. You can use pecans in substitute for the walnuts, but I really like my walnuts!

Ingredients: ½ cup melted butter
1 cup sugar ½ cup flour 2 beaten eggs 1 tsp. vanilla extract ¾ cup Walnuts or pecans (your choice not both!) ¾ cup chocolate chips (or more if you really want it gooey!)
Directions Mix in the order that’s written under the ingredients. This is very important. Pour the mixture into an unbaked 9 inch pie shell. Bake at 350° for 30 minutes.

Enjoy this amazing video of an artist decorating eggs.

Happy happy Easter!!
